Welcome to Vision North. Our name embodies our mission: to illuminate the path toward freedom in North Korea by undertaking the crucial work necessary for change in the world’s darkest place.

At Vision North, we are a dedicated team of young, talented individuals from both North and South Korea, united by our shared determination to make a meaningful impact. Working closely with diverse stakeholders and activists, we tackle the critical challenges of our time—facilitating the flow of information into and out of North Korea, rescuing defectors, and raising global awareness about the severe challenges faced by North Koreans every day.

Our collective efforts, though incremental, are vital in laying the groundwork for the country’s transformation and making the world a better place.

My journey began in North Korea, where freedom was an impossible dream. The hope for a better future sustained me through countless hardships as I escaped, sought a new life in a third country, and ultimately found a new beginning in South Korea. This same hope now drives our vision—a future where every North Korean can think freely and live with dignity.
